It never got old for Jen and I to giggle when we saw a sign with "Wiener" (German for Viennese) on it. Yeah, we're that mature. Anyways, day two in Vienna was much more delightful than the first. It was still overcast but at least the rain wasn't hard and constant (go ahead, make a dirty joke). The day started off at Schonbrunn Palace, which is the former Summer palace for the Hapsburg Family. We had an audio tour, that was surprisingly informative without being boring. When we went to pick up the odd audio machines, Jen asked for an English one to which the man replied that they had Chinese ones available. She politely asked for an English one again. I chuckled.
We continued with the standard issue sight seeing including St. Stephan's Cathedral, the Opera House, the University, Cafe Central and a bunch of other really old buildings.
Oh, yes, when we were taking pictures infront of the Austrian Parliament Building, all of a sudden some security guards started ushering as away. We were so confused until a procession of cars drove in, escorting a Romanian diplomat into the building. Then all the tourists continued taking photos.
